Books Left Unread

Welcome to my blog post where I talk about the books I have been meaning to read, but just have not yet. You know what I am talking about – the books that have remained unread for various reasons yet when you see them you think, “You know, I really need to read that.” Instead you get distracted by another book, series, or something in your TBR pile. It happens to the best of us. I want to spotlight those books in the hope that I can persuade myself to move them up on my TBR list.

This week’s post is dedicated to:

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman

Seraphina (Seraphina, #1)

Doesn’t this look like an awesome book? DRAGONS! But perhaps the fear of a bad dragon book keeps me from starting this. Also, high fantasy is tough for me to get into sometimes. It is not my most favorite genre. Have you read this? If so, what did you think?

  1. I love the idea of this post. There are so many times I’ll see someone reading a book and I’ll be like I’ve been meaning to read this but oh I gotta read this soon. I’ll say that and than what do you know a month passed by and yet I still haven’t read it. I need to get better at that. I have this book on my TBR list. It is a lovely cover.

  2. I have this book unread as well. I have had the book for quite a while, and meant to use it for a reading challenge, but I keep passing it over for different books. For me, I think it’s because I like contemporaries better than SFF books, but it does have really good ratings, and maybe when I am showing more shelf-love, I will read it.
