Review: My Lady’s Choosing

My Lady's Choosing: An Interactive Romance Novel

**I was sent a copy by the publisher in exchange for an honest review**

I. Loved. This. Book. It was so much fun! It is a modern day hilarious love story that is a choose your own adventure! AAHH! I loved those books growing up and this was just marvelous.

This book starts off by telling you your place in society – you are a lady who is seeking a man to wed and take care of you. Your duty is to pick the most suitable bachelor but you may not always pick correctly. You could pick the wealthy Lord only to find that you have been shipped from Europe to the States where you wed an older man with a teenage daughter who treats you like the hired help. You just have to follow your heart.

I went through nearly every possible scenario I could come across. Every time I came across the dreaded THE END, I would happily start over and choose another path. I never grew tired of the absolutely hilarious instructions at the bottom of the page or the creative situations I would find myself involved in. (Burning orphanage with a shirtless Scottsman, anyone?) I was constantly chuckling, snickering, or downright belting out a belly laugh at the witty dialogue and descriptions. These two authors made me want to be friends with them in real life. I will now forever read whatever they write.

NO matter what, this book was just downright FUN. It is a level of fun that I feel is missing in books today and it was refreshing to read. If you would like to relieve some of your childhood days of picking your own path, you need to get your hands on a copy of My Lady’s Choosing now. I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed. It is a hoot of a good time! Who knows, you might find yourself riding off until the sunset on the back of a galloping steed with a handsome devil sitting behind you. What girl wouldn’t want that?
