**I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for my honest review**
I am quickly learning that graphic novels are underrated and we need more of them. The story told within these pages felt important and necessary. The topics discussed (I don’t want to give anything away!) were also relevant, such as PTSD and terrorism. Pretty heavy topics but thankfully the author didn’t shy away from any of them.
The way the story was told was amazing. The style of the artwork was so fun that it didn’t feel as if I was being preached to or lectured at – I really enjoyed that.
I’m struggling to give a good review of this as I enjoyed it so much but at the same time, am urging everyone to get a copy! The characters were relatable, the storyline was well developed, and the pacing was on point. This really did have everything I wanted in a story/grapic novel. I cannot recommend this enough.
