Books Left Unread

Welcome to my blog post where I talk about the books I have been meaning to read, but just have not yet. You know what I am talking about – the books that have remained unread for various reasons yet when you see them you think, “You know, I really need to read that.” Instead you get distracted by another book, series, or something in your TBR pile. It happens to the best of us. I want to spotlight those books in the hope that I can persuade myself to move them up on my TBR list.

This week’s post is dedicated to:

The Falconer by Elizabeth May

The Falconer (The Falconer, #1)

I don’t have a solid reason for not reading this other than it is historical steampunk historical fiction. That sounds like alot to me.

This story sounds amazing but historical fiction can always be hit or miss. Have you read this one?

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman

Seraphina (Seraphina, #1)

I love the cover of this one but I think the fact it has dragons as a main character is what keeps me away. 😦 Tell me why I should read this one!

Dark Inside (Dark Inside, #1)

A dark and creepy dystopia? PLEASE AND THANK YOU! BUT! I only make side-eyes at it whenever I walk into my library, it hasn’t been enough to make me forget my TBR and start it. 😦

This just looks and sounds amazing but you know the drill — it just sits on my shelf staring at me. 😦

This Raging Light

This is another that I have an arc of but still have not read. I tend to feel it is magical realism and I’m not a big fan of those stories. Have you read it?
