Hello and welcome! My name is Sara and I’m an active reader / lover of YA books. I am currently located in the Lone Star State with my husband, our four cats, and a lot of cars. Living this far south means you have to be okay with humidity, all four seasons in one day, football, and BBQ.  Reading is the best form of relaxation. I hope you will pull up a chair and stay a spell.

REVIEW POLICY

The reviewers at A Gingerly Review are currently open to receiving Advance Reading Copies and Review Copies of books. I only accept physical books and audiobooks, and could possibly be open to ebooks. At this time, I DO NOT accept self published books.

When emailing, please include the summary, the release date, and a picture of the cover. Any links to further information would be appreciated as well. Please do not send quotes from other reviewers about your book.

By accepting or receiving a book, I do not guarantee that it will be read immediately or even read at all. It will all depend on time and interest. The same goes for being posted on the blog. I will try my very best to get it read and reviewed in a timely manner, but understand that I have other books I am committed to reviewing as well. If you have a time frame for when you expect the review to be posted, please let me know that as that will greatly influence my decision and I will have to see if I can commit to that timeline. If the book is an ARC copy, I will try and publish the review on or around the release date.

All reviews published will be the honest opinion of the reviewer and could potentially contain negative comments regarding the book. Reviews will not be malicious but will be the honest opinion addressing the problems the reviewer had with the book. Please understand that I will not write a glowing review just because you sent the book. I care about informing other readers of our honest opinions of the book and what they can expect. The opinion expressed by a particular reviewer does not reflect the view of all authors affiliated with this blog.

A Gingerly Review is more than happy to host author interviews, giveaways, and other promotional events, but sometimes may have to decline due to lack of time or interest. I would also consider being a guest blogger on other book related blogs. Contact me with any questions.
